Hartmann Turf & Tractor is a family-owned business now in its fourth generation and has been serving the Southern Illinois farming community and the surrounding areas since 1938. The original dealership, Hartmann Farm Supply, Inc., was founded by Henry Hartmann, Sr. in Baldwin, IL, and was the oldest franchised Ford® tractor dealership in the state. His sons, Daniel Hartmann and Henry Hartmann, Jr., joined him in the business in the late 1950s. The Baldwin location served its farming customers for over 76 years before it was sold in 2014.

Our current Millstadt location was purchased in 1983 and continues serving customers in Randolph, Monroe, and St. Clair Counties, and the surrounding areas. At our centrally-located Millstadt store, we offer light agriculture and a full line of commercial and residential outdoor power equipment. We carry KIOTI®, New Holland®, Hustler®, Ferris®, Cub Cadet®, Echo®, and RedMax® products as well as many short lines to meet your specific equipment needs.

We proudly opened our second location in Swansea, Illinois, on April 1, 2022. The Swansea location carries KIOTI, Hustler, Ferris, Cub Cadet, Echo, Shindaiwa®, RedMax, Woods®, and SnowEx® products as well as many short lines and is a full-service dealership for parts, service, and sales operating alongside our Millstadt location.
